Well, meet my bathroom. That's right. It's a one room toilet/shower/sink situation. I'm grateful, because when I was in Shanghai, we didn't even have toilets - just a porcelain bowl in the ground. So this is infinitely better, even if it means that my shampoo/conditioner sit in the sink while I shower. Also, I have yet to find the drain on the floor - the water just seems to disappear...
Meet the living room! On the left, we have my couch-bed (which is where Binh is going to be staying next week), and on my right, we have the dining table! Also, you can't see it, but that's where the AC is.
My first foray out of the apartment today was, of course, to the supermarket. When choosing between buying food and buying a cell phone, of course I went with the food. Luckily, I think I shall eat okay here - it's all pretty standard fare, AND I found an organic fruit store! Also, there's a bakery on my street. :)
Anyway, I'm going to go buy a cheap cell phone, I think. I have to say, that was the weirdest thing about all the traveling I've done - wandering around in foreign places without a cell phone is kind of a liberating feeling. I mean, I hardly ever carry my cell phone as it is, but still.
